When I was younger I knew mutts were my best friends. Whether it was a neighborhood dog I was walking or just begging my mom for a dog it was clear this love would grow to become my number one passion if life.

As a dog groomer in high school I was able to surround myself with many different breeds and get to know the body structure and physique of many mutts. College was supported by working as a Vet Tech for 4 years and here I was able to learn the essentials in owning and caring for your animals as well as how to treat certain ailments or discomforts. It was then that I moved from the east coast to the west coast in search of better weather and more pooches.

In the course of my 30 years I have owned, several mutts, 2 Saint Bernard’s, Weimaraner , Rodesian Ridgeback, Pug, Yorkie, Affenpinscher and plan on many more. The 3 friends I own now are very tiny and not suited for the long runs I do. I believe having a mutt on a run makes the run much more enjoyable and benefits both the 2 and four legged runner.
